Delivery Information

 

1. Stock and Ordering 

Most items on our website are ordered from suppliers as orders are placed, unless otherwise stated. While we strive to keep our website updated with accurate pricing and stock levels, we recommend waiting for a confirmation email or phone call from Techspertz before making payment. This confirmation will include estimated delivery times and any stock updates.
For items not in stock with suppliers, Techspertz will contact you to suggest a substitute, place the item on backorder, or allow you to cancel the item from your order.

2. Payment

Payment is accepted via EFT only. Orders will be processed once payment has cleared into our bank account. Payment must be made within 48 hours of placing the order; otherwise, your order may be canceled or updated to reflect current pricing.

3. Delivery Options

• We deliver nationwide across South Africa using trusted couriers (TCG, Pudobox, or equivalent).
• Door-to-door courier service does not deliver to PO Boxes; a street address must be provided at checkout.
• Orders to remote locations such as farms or mines cannot currently be shipped.

4. Delivery Times

• Orders are typically collected by the courier within 24 hours of payment confirmation (subject to bank processing times).
• Estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout and are calculated in business days from dispatch.
• Deliveries to major centres follow standard courier times; deliveries outside these areas may take 1–2 additional business days.

5. Tracking and Risk

• All packages are fully trackable. Tracking numbers will be provided once the order is dispatched.
• Risk of damage or loss passes to the customer upon delivery.
• Customers should inspect packages upon delivery in the presence of the courier and report any damage or missing items immediately.

6. Lost or Damaged Orders

• Techspertz guarantees delivery of all dispatched orders.
• If a package is lost, damaged, or stolen, we will replace or refund the order at our discretion.

Returns Policy

1. Returns Window

• Returns are accepted within 7 working days of delivery for a full refund, excluding shipping costs.
• Products must be returned unused, unopened, and in original packaging along with all materials included with the purchase.

2. Opened or Used Items

• For opened products (excluding Techspertz Pre-Built PCs), a 20% restocking fee may apply if all original packaging and materials are intact.
• Opened items returned without all packaging/materials may incur additional fees at Techspertz’s discretion.
• Items must be returned in a condition fit for resale. Software and consumables can only be returned if unopened.

3. Shipping Returns

• Customers are responsible for safely packaging returns.
• Packages should clearly display the order number and return address.
• Techspertz is not liable for damages during return shipping. Customers are encouraged to insure returned items.

Replacements and Warranties

1. Manufacturer Warranties

• All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, usually at least 1 year, unless otherwise stated.
• Techspertz honors these warranties and any extended periods offered by the manufacturer.

2. Faulty Items

• Contact Techspertz if a product is faulty. We will provide return instructions.
• For faulty items, the customer arranges delivery to Techspertz, and Techspertz covers return shipping if the item is valued at R2,500 or more.

3. Dead on Arrival (DOA) or Early Faults

• If a product is DOA or becomes faulty within 30 days of delivery, Techspertz will arrange a courier to collect the item and cover shipping costs both ways.

4. Warranties Beyond Returns

• After the 7-day returns period, customers may still claim under the product warranty as stated on the product page.
• This applies to new products, used products with specified warranties, and PC builds with a 1-year workmanship warranty.
