The sensor comes in two parts: a transmitter and a magnetic switch. When the door or window opens, the system detects the change and triggers alerts. Easily monitor your doors and windows in real-time via the eWeLink app, and link it to other Sonoff devices to create smart scenes like turning on lights when a door opens.

Important Installation Note:
Due to a design flaw in the battery clip, it is recommended to wrap the battery in electrical tape before inserting to avoid shorts. Always use the correct 27A 12V battery (not AAA as incorrectly stated in the manual).
